Cardiovascular endurance

■ cardiovascular endurance is the ability of the heart (cardio), blood vessels (vascular) and lungs to provide the muscles with the oxygen they need to be able to repeat certain movements, such as when riding a bicycle, running or swimming.

☆Here are some ways to build cardiovascular endurance:

1. Brisk walking

2. Running

3. Rope jumping

4. Cross-country skiing

5. Tennis

6. Aerobic exercises

7. Cycling

8. Dancing

■ As your cardiorespiratory endurance improves, your resting and exercising heart rate decreases and places less strain on the heart.
